Oktaha Elementary’s 5th and 6th grade students had the honor of participating in the Oklahoma State Treasurer’s Financial Literacy Tour. Treasurer Todd Russ visited our campus to speak with students about financial responsibility and the importance of saving for the future. He introduced the Oklahoma 529 College Savings Plan and encouraged students to start planning early. As part of the event, one student from each grade was awarded a $50 certificate to begin their own Oklahoma 529 savings account. Congratulations to Payton Harris and Tennyson Scott on receiving this opportunity.
