Hello! My name is Erica Elam, and I am excited to join Oktaha Public Schools as the new school nurse. My husband, Jay, and I have three wonderful daughters Tinleigh, Lakin, and Kiley, who keep us busy with their many sports and activities.
I graduated from Collinsville High School before earning a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration from Northeastern State University and my Registered Nurse (RN) degree from Connors State College. I have been a registered nurse for 14 years, spending most of my career in Labor & Delivery before transitioning to senior home care over the past few years.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, and cheering on my daughters in all of their activities. I am honored to begin my first year as the school nurse at Oktaha and look forward to getting to know the students, staff, and families.
I am excited to be a part of the Tiger family and can't wait for a great school year!

Oktaha Public School hosts Muskogee County Health Department Mobile Clinic every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. The clinic is open to Students, Staff and the Community.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health has confirmed two cases of measles in the state. It is important to be aware of these highly contagious diseases symptoms, and how to respond. Please review your child’s immunization status, exemption status, and the school policy should a case be identified at our school.
