Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math, an educational approach that can help kids understand the world around them. STEM can also refer to a way of thinking that involves asking questions, solving problems, and exploring the world
STEM programs for kids can help them:
- Learn to be critical thinkers and problem solvers
- Experiment and make mistakes
- See how their ideas and projects can make life easier
- Develop soft skills like curiosity, creativity, communication, collaboration, and perseverance
STEM is offered to students that qualify in the 3rd - 6th grades. We have monthly after-school meetings where we have interactive STEM activities and projects that enhance and build upon the standards being learned in the classroom.
